LentloAds connects you with people nearby. Deals happen in person, so a few habits keep you safe.

If you are buying

Meet the seller in a busy public place, in daylight, and take someone with you for expensive items.
Inspect the item carefully before paying. Test phones, laptops and vehicles; check documents for vehicles and property.
Pay only after you have the item in hand. Never pay a token, deposit or courier fee in advance.
Prefer cash or a UPI payment made in person. Do not send money to "reserve" an item.
Never share an OTP with anyone. LentloAds will never ask for it, and neither will a genuine seller.
Be wary of prices that are far below market and of sellers who refuse to meet or take a call.

If you are selling

Meet buyers in public places and do not invite strangers to your home unless necessary.
Confirm the money has reached your account before handing over the item. A payment screenshot is not proof.
Beware of "overpayment" or "refund the extra" requests and of QR codes sent to you to "receive" money — scanning a QR code sends money, it does not receive it.
Do not share your bank details, card numbers or OTPs in chat.
Mark your ad as sold once the deal is done so you stop getting calls.
